Travel:
Inbound flights will arrive at Denver International Airport (DEN). Boulder is around 1 hour from the airport by car or bus. The cheapest, and for many people the most convenient way to get from the airport to Boulder is the AB bus. This runs every hour from the transit center at the airport (south end of the main terminal, below the Westin Hotel). The bus goes to downtown Boulder, via the campus. For details, see the RTD website (). You can purchase tickets on the RTD Mobile Tickets App () or use one of the ticket machines in the transit center. Tickets must be purchased and activated before boarding the bus.
If you plan to take the AB bus straight to campus, exit the bus at the Broadway/Euclid Ave bus stop in Boulder. You might ask the driver to let you know when you are at the stop closest to the University, and in particular the University Memorial Center (UMC). If you walk around the UMC on the left (west) side, the second building you come to on your left will be Hellems. The Philosophy Dept. Office is in Hellems 169.
Shuttles and ride share service are also available. shuttles cost $55 each way, while an UBER or Lyft runs from $50 to $80, depending on timing.
Lodging:
There are a few relatively inexpensive hotels, close to campus. We can recommend:
- University Inn, 1632 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80302
- Basecamp Boulder, 2020 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder, CO 80302
